My garden has 3 successive planting schedules for the apples cordian trees(summer) with black berries(winter), my vegetable garden has beans squash and corn for the summer while my winter garden has peas, green onions, peas and potatoes. For my beneficial habitat garden I have planted Zinnia,Tansy, parsley and fennel to attract beetles, lady beetles, ground beetles, lacewings, hover flies, true bugs and parasitic wasps. My fruit garden has blueberries, raspberries, white currants and strawberries. Two pests that like to attack them are scales and raspberries sawfly, for scales you leave sticky traps and for sawflies you let their predators deal with them. The scientific companion vegetables have the trapping crop and symbiotic nitrogen fixation that the plants support each other on.
