Plan Notes
This is our third year with this garden plan. We have extended the garden by 24" on the south border(which does not show on plan) to give the raspberry plants room to expand southward instead of towards the garden area. We are incorporating the "folded-rolled toilet paper/seeds in flour paste" method of planting our seeds this year. What a neat idea. It might help keeping the quail from devouring our freshly planted seeds. ( smile ) We're anxious to see how well this planting method works out. I'll make a report here later. Edit: 1-26-17 Our garden didn't do as well as we expected in 2016. Tomatos experienced an unexpected late frost and killed all our settings. Actally, volunteer tomatoes rescued us. ( smile ) Still had a good crop of tomatoes. The toilet paper/seeding method worked well. Time consuming, but can be prepared indoors prior to planting. Spacing can be predetermined. See ya in 2017!
