About this Garden Plan
7 raised beds with borders and a seperate herb garden. This year we will not grow potatoes and use the bed for Melons .Chilli and peppers are started in the greenhouse but the majority will be on the pation in pots in full sun.

Plan Notes
June 8th: Salad bed doing well, not enough room for radish, spring onions still some weeks to go. Strawberry look to have a large crop. Dwarf beans and climbing beans still only 2" tall. Peas growing but like beans 3-4" tall. Melons have not put on any growth since planting out, 5" spread. Onions swelling. Carrots sown at different times but seem to be all the same size. not harvesting for some weeks yet.Herbs growing well expect Oregano which is very poor, Basil is slow but growing from seed and transplanted seedlings. Chilli and peppers in GH 4" tall with flowers, but outside one very small little growth, Toms going well in GH, Patio. Grden plants by the walls are half the size however May was cold and the sun in june has been eractic with cool nights. August 6 Outdoor toms growing well, harvested three red toms today, one variety is yellow. Spring onions now ready. Run out of radish but plenty of lettuce. Sowing more Chinese cabbage. French beans starting to harvest, do not grow dwarf beans next year. Peas harvested - next year grow 2beds with better support. Broad beans harvested,try different variety next year.
