About this Garden Plan
This is the tentative plan for our backyard vegetable garden for 2013. The garden to the west (with potatoes) has been expanded. The garden in the middle is new this year. The long flowerbed along the south fence is a work in progress, mix of perennials, grasses and herbs.

Plan Notes
As of March 17, still need to order some seeds. Some tomatoes have been started from seed, with plans to add a couple of nursery plants as well. Potatoes are on order (Siegelende) from Amsterdam Nursery, Pitt Meadows BC. Herbs seeds have been started. Last year's potted Rosemary died - purchased two new plants. Plan still subject to change. Not noted in plan: Peppers are grown in greenhouse and stay in all summer, except for extremely hot days. Some hanging plant additions - one determinate tomato planted in upside down pot. Nasturtiums in pots, one on south fence, one on side of greenhouse. Strawberries are in pots and one large hanging basket on decks and have thrived there for the last 3 years so will remain in those spots. Some potatoes will be grown in upright container elsewhere in yard (to be determined).
