About this Garden Plan
6 or so households with a Vision of people enjoying working together in a thriving local gardening enterprise that runs for the advantage of all participants, growing our human capacity and resilience, and providing nourishment in all areas of our lives. Mission is to establish, manage and maintain a beautiful, abundant and sustainable garden that produces local fresh organically grown food, to feed ourselves, produce income, and grow our community. Our activities are based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, co-operation and fun. We believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring. We have begun preparing the earth, seeds are being sown, and the plants are just starting to be set out.
